Handmade pottery since 2014. Attempting to hide the nature in your daily use tableware to make your life a bit closer to the nature. Shipping the nature to all over the world.

It is scientifically proved that the ocean has always been humans' remedy for relieving tension, stress, and anxiety. And this is what The Moon The Sea believe and experienced.

To encounter with the no mercy urban life, we could react positively to water and that being near it can calm and connect us, or even heal what’s broken.

The Moon The Sea attempts to put the elements of the beauty nature into our daily tableware.

Every pieces are made by hand. From now on, you can have a view of the peaceful ocean or a moment of quiet consolation from the moon by staring at your plate or cup.

Since 2014, created by Vivian Lam.

Started in Hong Kong, currently base in Singapore.

Technically rooted in Singapore, emotionally too into Hong Kong.

Special thanks to all of the people that made me become the me of today.

All started from a pure selfishness. I just want to hide the sea in a private secret place that only I would know.

Taking a piece of ocean, like picking a piece of marshmallow, and store it deep down in my cup. Sometimes you will just need a deep breath, and release all your tiredness through a long exhale. Have a moment of zone out.

To all dear 9-5:
If you are tired from sitting in front of the computer, sick of letting the glow from the monitor hitting on your face rather than the real sunshine, feeling suffocated of caged within your office box, hands feeling numbed from moving back and forth on the keyboard.

Just pull out your cup and have a sneak peek of the sea.

The Moon The Sea probably drinks 8 cups of coffee a day. She is trying so hard to cut down her coffee consumption.

So she will be very likely to use the coffee fund to buy more clay and make more Sea in bowls and Moon in plates.

Leave me a message after you support me, I would like to thank you on my own!

Cheers,
